We successfully continue to meet this goal through a drive and passion that is noticed in our team and designs.
Lisa Petrella, Principal Designer
"The creative and practical philosophy I apply to my business comes from my background in graphic design and art direction and my 17 years of business experience with a major corporation. I've combined my skills and apply them to my true calling: designing beautiful interiors. My clients benefit from my problem-solving skills and design experience. My goal is to translate their lifestyle demands and personal taste to a current design that stands the test of time. I am passionate about giving back to the community. Previously served as V.P. of Variety the Children's Charity; currently on the Design Board for Suite Dreams and Jack's Place for Autism."
Kourtney Shammo - Senior Designer
Kourtney got her start at Petrella Designs in 2013 as Assistant Designer to Lisa. While obtaining her Associate of Applied Science in Interior Design and furthering her education with a Bachelors in Business Administration, Kourtney’s design work continued to flourish. She soon proved her place as the first Associate Designer at Petrella Designs, allowing for continued growth of the firm.
Having worked in the industry for five years, Kourtney’s genuine passion and creative eye are what drives her to continually grow her ideas, skills, and relationships with clients and contractors.
Kourtney believes a well-designed space is not only determined by a pleasing aesthetic, but also by a functionality that provides endless opportunities for an individual or family to grow in.
“Design isn’t just about what looks pretty. It’s about taking a personality or perspective and translating it visually. The end result should be uplifting to the mind and nourishing to the soul.”
